Pakistan’s Second largest Mobile Telecom company, Mobilink Jazz Sales revenue reached PKR229 billion in 2021 marking 14.5 percent growth Year-on-Year. This came amid nascent recovery from COVID19 pandemic and increased competition.
The revenue from Data services amounted to PKR 87 billion, marking a 26 percent Yearly increase. Data services contribute roughly 37 percent to overall revenue pie of the company.

Jazz Earnings before Interest,Tax, Depreciation and Amortization increased by 5 percent year-on-year in 2021 to around PKR 105 billion due to cost savings initiatives of the company. This is the highest level of EBITDA company has ever managed to achieve. Though EBITDA margins have declined to 46 percent from previous level of 50 percent. The decline in margins is primarily due to Investments in Jazz Cash and Mobilink Micro Finance Bank.

All in all, the tough patch for Jazz, seems to be over as company’s financial strength is increasing. Coming years, may further bolster the financials as economy recovers from COVID19 shock.
