The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase of Rs 5 to 6 per liter in the prices of petroleum products.

According to the sources, a summary of the increase in the prices of petroleum products has been sent to the petroleum Division as a petrol price increase of Rs 5.50 per liter has been suggested.

It is recommended to increase the price of high speed diesel by Rs 5 and light diesel by Rs 4 per liter. Likewise, the proposal to increase the price of kerosene by Rs 6 per liter is also included in the abstract.
The final decision on rate hike will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the new rates will be announced by the Finance Ministry tomorrow.
