Global telecommunications giant Etisalat CEO and Pakistan’s Information and Communications Technology Minister Syed Amin-ul-Haq discussed bilateral issues, Pakistan’s telecommunications growth and 5G strategy during the Mobile World Congress 2022 (MWC22) on Tuesday.
CEO Etisalat Hatem Dowidar along with President and Group CEO PTCL Hatem Bamatraf, contacted Federal Information and Communications Technology Minister Syed Aminul Haq on Tuesday during MWC22 in Barcelona, Spain.
The meeting was attended by Member of the International Coordinator Mr. Ajmal Awan, Executive Director of the Universal Service Fund Mr. Harris Mahmood Chaudhry, Executive Director of the Pakistan Software Export Council Mr. Usman Nasir.
Pakistan’s Telecom Sector is under Global Limelight amid roll out of additional Telecom spectrum and Near term rolling out of 5G Technology in the country.
Pakistan is a strong market of roughly 220 million with rising Tele density and opportunities for growth.
